For this weeks Devotional in Exodus 15:1-8
it personally it reminds me of God’s steadfast love for us all.
It shows me His loving faithfulness in leading His children with a way of escape.
I really don’t think that we can fathom all that he done for us nor is doing in this hour. I know that when I surrender things over to Him completely that He is a mighty warrior and will fight the battles for me! He always brings about a victory!
It is God’s will and God’s way and not ours. He is no respector of persons.
He sees the “Big Picture” from beginning to the end. He scatters and takes care of our enemies one by one (the ones we see and don’t see).
He triumphs over ALL things. We may not see the outcome to our trials but
He does and leads, guides and directs. What is too hard for God?
What is impossible for God? He always finishes what He first begins in us.
If He was faithful before to us he will be faithful again! When the praises go UP the GLORY comes down.
We need to be faithful to sing and praise our way through the wilderness and great trials then trust Him completely.
If it is a Red Sea that we need parted and it seems impossible.
I have the trust that He will and He can do it for me and others.
He has me )and YOU) in the mighty palm of His hand.
I have learned that those battles that try to wear me down in well doing-God is still on the throne and hears me when I call Him for help at any hour for prayer.
“I’m singing my heart out to God—what a victory”! Amen and AMEN!
15 1-8 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to God, giving voice together,
I’m singing my heart out to God—what a victory!
He pitched horse and rider into the sea.
God is my strength, God is my song,
and, yes! God is my salvation.
This is the kind of God I have
and I’m telling the world!
This is the God of my father—
I’m spreading the news far and wide!
God is a fighter,
pure God, through and through.
Pharaoh’s chariots and army
he dumped in the sea,
The elite of his officers
he drowned in the Red Sea.
Wild ocean waters poured over them;
they sank like a rock in the deep blue sea.
Your strong right hand, God, shimmers with power;
your strong right hand shatters the enemy.
In your mighty majesty
you smash your upstart enemies,
You let loose your hot anger
and burn them to a crisp.
At a blast from your nostrils
the waters piled up;
Tumbling streams dammed up,
wild oceans curdled into a swamp.
